Alert issued for Google Chrome users, do not do it by mistake, it may be heavy

While Google often alerts its users about the risk of any dangerous site or hackers, it sometimes happens that some things are unknowingly dangerous. In such a situation, the Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-In) has issued an alert for Google Chrome Users, warning them to avoid downloading any Chrome Extension extension as the company is afraid of stealing the sensitive data of the users. About 100 links have been removed.

Google has said that this dangerous extension has the ability to take screenshots, read your clipboard, and steal your authentication cookies. The Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-In) is India's national technology arm that protects the Indian cyber space from attacks.

It has said in its statement, it has been seen that Google has removed 106 extensions of Google Chrome Browser which were Chrome Web Store and stealing sensitive user data.

Do it Also remove from your browser.


The cyber security agency has recommended to download only those extensions which are very important and useful. So that there is no fear of any kind of data theft.
